Temptation

Temptation is a common experience for everyone, whether they are Christians or not, but for Christians it is especially real, inevitable, and persistent. So it’s never a question of if we are tempted, only of when, where and how.

This is such an important area to be aware of in the Christian life, but one that I find is sadly neglected. Maybe teaching about it comes up during Lent but is largely absent for the rest of the year. Would that temptations were limited to the 40 days of Lent and we were free from them for the other 325 days!
