What is the Church and Does it Have a Future?

In some parts of the world, the Church is floundering whilst in other places it is flourishing! Why the difference?

I believe it is only when we see the Church functioning as God describes it i.e. as the family of God, the flock of Christ, the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, the building of God, the bride of Christ and the body of Christ, that we can have confidence in its identity, growth, and sustainability.

Coupled with this, is the recognition that the Church is made up of people who are called, chosen, charismatic, consecrated and commissioned.

The One, True Church, founded on the rock of Jesus Christ and built with Living Stones is indestructible; anything else may crumble, fall, and turn to dust.
